I have had the pleasure of knowing Isaac since the day he was born and I have watched him grow into the sweetest little boy ever. We took a trip to the park where he ran around with energy similar to a nuclear power plant. He is very inquisitive and although he was shy at first within ten minutes he was babbling away pointing at the ducks and geese on the pond and picking me flowers for my hair. Just the mention of the word ‘slide’ sent him into an excited frenzy, he had an absolute blast on the slides as he ran around again and again, up and down and up and down. The swings were his favourite and it was so funny to watch him squeal with delight as he begged to be pushed higher and faster. Finally, this little boy amazed me as he wolfed down a whole ice cream to himself with no help whatsoever from an adult. This little boy takes his ice cream consumption very seriously and finished the whole thing in record time. The only evidence that the cornetto ever existed was the ring of chocolate left around his mouth after it was gone.
As a family photographer Blackheath, it never ceases to amaze me the small things in life that can give a child the most amount of pleasure. Issey was a blast to shoot and I can’t wait to meet up with him again to capture him when he is a little older and we can catch another glimpse of his personality as he develops into a young man. An activity as simple as going to the park and getting an ice cream is all you need in order to get some fantastic shots of your little ones. Keep it simple and do what they enjoy and le tthe magic moments just happen.
