Being an Old Kent Barn wedding photographer means I love a spring wedding, and Emma and Steve’s beautiful wedding at the Old Kent Barn in Swingfield was no exception. This venue is an amazing converted barn with high ceilings and old wooden beams which made a fantastic backdrop for this awesome day. The Spring blossom was every photographers dream and I couldn’t wait to take full advantage during the couples portraits. Because both Emma and Steve were getting ready in the same place I was able to spend some time with both the bride and groom whilst they were getting ready. The ladies were so chilled out, sipping on champagne, having a chat and a good old giggle and the guys were with the groom as he waited nervously while greeting guests as they arrived from far and wide. Emma and Steve were so relaxed and they made my job very easy, following directions perfectly and enjoying their first few moments together as husband and wife as we took some time to get some portraits of the two together in the grounds of the wedding venue. It was a perfect day and I’m sure that the bride and groom enjoyed their day only slightly more than I enjoyed capturing it.
